This program will mark what is anticipated to be Sir David Jason's final appearance as Granville, a character he has portrayed for most of his life. The special promises a nostalgic look back at the original series, which ran from 1976 to 1985, and its successor, "Still Open All Hours." It will also include a new scene written by the original creator, Roy Clarke, depicting Granville closing his Doncaster shop and reflecting on life's changes.
