The streaming giant Prime Video launched the highly anticipated six-part psychological thriller, "Malice," on November 14, 2025. This intense series features a compelling cast led by David Duchovny, renowned for his iconic roles, and Jack Whitehall. The narrative centers on the affluent Tanner family, whose luxurious vacation on the picturesque Greek island of Paros takes a sinister turn when they employ a private tutor. Whitehall steps into the role of Adam Healy, the seemingly charming instructor. Unbeknownst to the Tanners, their new mentor harbors deep-seated motives driven by a desire for vengeance.

Joining the ensemble is Carice van Houten, who portrays Nat Tanner, a key member of the targeted family. David Duchovny, whose extensive career includes landmark television series such as "The X-Files" and "Californication," accepted the part after being impressed by the script's undeniable quality and the prospect of a creative partnership with Jack Whitehall. Duchovny publicly lauded Whitehall's acting versatility, citing his previous exposure to Whitehall’s stand-up comedy performances and other television projects as evidence of his broad range.

Conceived by James Wood, the accomplished screenwriter behind "The Great," "Malice" is positioned as a taut story of domestic infiltration. The series explores how superficial charisma can mask cold, calculated malice aimed at destruction. The production utilized striking locations to highlight the stark contrast between opulence and impending danger. The idyllic Greek island of Paros and the bustling, metropolitan backdrop of London serve as the primary settings for the unfolding drama. Adam Healy, the deceptively charismatic tutor, initially secures the family's trust. His calculated plan advances when he exploits the illness of the family nanny to gain access to the Tanners' central London residence, initiating a systematic campaign to dismantle their lives from within.

All six episodes of the series became available for simultaneous viewing on the premiere date, November 14, 2025. The core conflict revolves around Jamie Tanner, played by Duchovny, and his wife Nat. Their marriage and stability are severely tested under the weight of Adam’s relentless manipulation. As Jamie's world begins to unravel, Nat gradually recognizes that the source of their mounting troubles is directly linked to the presence of this new individual in their intimate circle. Production duties were handled by Expectation and Tailspin Films, with Tim Hincks, Imogen Cooper, and series creator James Wood serving as executive producers.

The directorial duties for the series were shared between Mike Barker, known for his experience in high-quality British dramatic serials, and Leonora Lonsdale, whose work often focuses on intricate family dynamics. Each installment boasts a runtime of approximately 50 minutes, ensuring a brisk and dynamic pace essential for a psychological thriller where suspense must escalate with every scene. This intense, six-part series is available exclusively for streaming on the Prime Video platform.
