Avengers: Doomsday, initially scheduled for May 1, 2026, is now set to premiere on December 18, 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars has been moved from May 7, 2027, to December 17, 2027. The studio aims to allow more time for the extensive production required for these films.
The Russo brothers are set to direct. The delay suggests Marvel's commitment to ensuring the quality and scope of these highly anticipated movies meet fan expectations. Filming for Doomsday began in April 2025 and is expected to last approximately six months.
