The 31st Iberian Film Festival will take place from July 7th to 11th, 2025, across Badajoz, Olivenza, and San Vicente de Alcántara.
This event, Extremadura's oldest short film competition, has received a record 1,200 submissions, surpassing the 1,051 entries from 2024. The official program includes the Official Section, the Extremadura Section, and the Festival dos Miúdos for children aged 7 to 10.
Screenings will be held in iconic locations, including the terrace of the Teatro López de Ayala in Badajoz. Parallel activities include two film music concerts.
