Adrien Brody's Artwork and James Franco's Art Auctioned at amfAR Cannes Gala 2025

Adrien Brody's artwork was among the starry offerings at the annual amfAR Gala held on May 22, 2025, during the Cannes Film Festival. The event, which raises money for AIDS research, took place at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.

The auction included artwork by Adrien Brody, which sold for 375,000 euros (approximately $423,755), with a lunch with the star included. James Franco also auctioned his art. Other auction items included a Dodge Charger featured in “Fast X,” which Michelle Rodriguez sold off for 475,000 euros ($536,843), and Chopard pear-shaped, yellow-diamond earrings that reached 400,000 euros ($452,005) in the bidding.

The gala featured performances by Ciara, Adam Lambert, and Duran Duran. Celebrities such as Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez, Heidi Klum, Spike Lee, and Colman Domingo were among the attendees. The amfAR Gala Cannes has raised $297 million since the first event in 1993.
