Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow Wraps Filming in May 2025, Set for June 2026 Release

Filming for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, directed by Craig Gillespie, officially wrapped in May 2025, as confirmed by DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn. The movie is now in post-production and is slated for theatrical release on June 26, 2026.

The film stars Milly Alcock as Supergirl, alongside Eve Ridley, Matthias Schoenaerts, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham and Jason Momoa. The screenplay, penned by Ana Nogueira, draws inspiration from Tom King's comic series.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow follows Kara Zor-El, Supergirl, on a journey to protect a young girl. This film will explore a different side of Supergirl, contrasting her upbringing with Superman's. Principal photography commenced in January 2025 at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and London, with additional filming in Scotland and Iceland.
