Cannes Film Festival 2025: Jury Announced, Includes Halle Berry and Jeremy Strong

The Cannes Film Festival has announced the jury for its 78th edition, scheduled to take place from May 13-24, 2025. The jury will be responsible for selecting the winners of the prestigious Palme d'Or and other awards from the 21 films in competition.

French actress Juliette Binoche will preside over the jury, which includes a diverse panel of international artists. American actress and filmmaker Halle Berry, known for her roles in films like "Monster's Ball" and "X-Men", joins the panel. Also on the jury are American actor Jeremy Strong, recognized for his work in "Succession" and "The Apprentice"; Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia, whose film "All We Imagine As Light" won the Grand Prix at Cannes in 2024; and Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher.

Completing the jury are French-Moroccan writer Leïla Slimani, Congolese director and documentarian Dieudo Hamadi, Korean director and screenwriter Hong Sangsoo, and Mexican director, screenwriter, and producer Carlos Reygadas. The jury's decisions will be revealed at the closing ceremony on May 24.
