Netflix's 'senna' wins best series creator at premios platino

Netflix's miniseries "Senna," chronicling the life of Brazilian Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna, won big at the Premios Platino in Madrid. Vicente Amorim, Fernando Coimbra, Luiz Bolognesi, and Patrícia Andrade were awarded Best Series Creator.

The series follows Senna's journey from his move to England to compete in Formula Ford, up to his tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix. The Premios Platino awards celebrate the best in Ibero-American cinema and television.

Another Brazilian film, "Still Here," also received recognition, winning awards for Best Film, Best Director (Walter Salles), and Best Actress (Fernanda Torres). The Premios Platino, established in 2014, highlights outstanding achievements in Ibero-American productions.
