FEVVERS, developed in collaboration with UK startup Fevvers and Indian textile house Chanakya International, offers a cruelty-free alternative to animal feathers, which are associated with significant environmental concerns including greenhouse gas emissions and intensive chemical treatments. PURE.TECH, created by Tech Textiles, is a programmable fabric that utilizes sunlight to capture pollutants like CO₂ and NOx from the air, effectively turning garments into air purification tools.
The collection itself showcased a range of silhouettes, from elegant off-the-shoulder suits and oversized trench coats to ethereal plissé dresses. Accessories included sculptural high-heeled sandals, robust boxing boots, and the new vegan Ryder bag. McCartney confirmed that 98% of the collection utilized sustainable materials and 100% were cruelty-free, underscoring her philosophy of achieving luxury without ethical compromise.
