The inaugural "OLED Film Festival in Mexico," sponsored by LG Electronics and the Cineteca Nacional, is scheduled from June 5th to 8th. This festival will feature over 30 short films that celebrate the indigenous communities and cultural heritage of Mexico. The event aims to combine technology with cultural pride, highlighting Mexican traditions and customs. The short films will be screened in the LG OLED cinema hall, which is designed to provide an exceptional viewing experience. The festival will present four thematic programs: "Childhood," "Musical Mexico," "Rituals and Customs," and "Best of Pixelatl." These programs will spotlight emerging talents and showcase top short films from 2019 to 2024. Curated by Pixelatl, the festival will also offer public workshops, including "Ideatoon" and "Secuenciarte." The event seeks to emphasize the importance of preserving cultural roots and nurturing creativity. It will also include restored short films and popular works such as "Carne de Dios" and "Hasta los Huesos."
