Gorizia, the European Capital of Culture 2025, is set to host a series of events, exhibitions, and festivals. These initiatives aim to highlight the city's role as a cultural crossroads and a symbol of cooperation between Italy and Slovenia.

The city's program includes the "Safety Love" event on June 23, which combines music and social commitment to raise awareness about worker safety. The event features performances by both national and international artists.

On July 23, the historic Piazza Transalpina will host a pole vaulting competition featuring world record holder Armand Duplantis. The competition's unique setup, with the jumping platform straddling the Italian-Slovenian border, symbolizes the city's spirit of cooperation.

In September, Gorizia will host the 20th edition of 'Gusti di Frontiera,' a food festival that will extend into Slovenia. The festival aims to create a bridge between the two countries through food and conviviality.

The city has also hosted art exhibitions, including a recent Andy Warhol exhibition with approximately 60,000 visitors. Other exhibitions include those on Giuseppe Ungaretti and Franco Basaglia.

These events are part of a broader effort to promote Gorizia as a city of cultures, sports, and innovation, with the goal of strengthening relations between Italy and Slovenia.
