RADAR Contemporary Art Event to Showcase Over 50 Artists in São Paulo, Brazil

The 4th edition of RADAR, a contemporary art event, will take place from March 12-15 in central São Paulo. Conceived by artists Daniela Schiller, Flavia Renault, and Mariana Porto, RADAR aims to independently foster the art market, uniting enthusiasts, new collectors, and seasoned art patrons. This year's event will feature over 50 artists across three floors of a 900m2 building on Rua da Consolação, formerly known as the Shopping da Iluminação. With artistic guidance from researcher, curator, and visual arts consultant Julie Belfer Sarian, RADAR will present a diverse selection of works in an unconventional setting. The event seeks to provide easy access and orientation in an informal yet professional environment, showcasing artists in various stages of their careers, including Ulysses Bôscolo, Maria Luiza Mazzetto, and Carlos Nunes. The choice of location is a key element, with the organizers preferring abandoned spaces to reinvent. This year's venue, the former Shopping da Iluminação, has ties to visual artist Marcelo Krasilcic, who has been based in New York since the 1990s. The event will also feature musical performances, lounges, a restaurant, a bar, and art-related services. Artwork prices will range from 500 to 30,000 reais.
