Madhya Pradesh Experiences Early Heatwave, Temperatures Exceed 40°C in April

Several districts in Madhya Pradesh, India, recorded temperatures exceeding 40°C in the first week of April. Ratlam reached a maximum of 42.6°C on Sunday. Bhopal, Ujjain, Dhar, Guna, and Gwalior also surpassed 40°C for the first time this season. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts heatwave conditions in central and north India for the next six days, with temperatures potentially rising 2-4°C. The weather department predicts above-normal temperatures across much of India from April to June.
