The Long-Awaited Premiere on November 21, 2025: Dan Farrah's Documentary "The Age of Disclosure" Investigates Alleged 80-Year Cover-Up of Non-Human Intelligence

The documentary film “The Age of Disclosure,” directed by Dan Farrah, is set for a wide release in late 2025, focusing on explosive claims regarding an alleged eighty-year suppression of information concerning non-human intelligent existence by major global powers. The film, which had its world premiere in March 2025 at the SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas, centers on a purported clandestine race to reverse-engineer advanced technology of non-human origin.

For Farrah, who previously served as a producer on projects such as “Ready Player One,” this marks his directorial debut. He dedicated three years to compiling testimony from key figures. Central to the narrative are the statements provided by 34 insiders sourced from US governmental, military, and intelligence structures. Among these prominent voices is Luis Elizondo, a former employee of the US Department of Defense, who asserts that the United States has been secretly engaged in the retrieval of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) since 1947—a date that aligns precisely with the claimed duration of the cover-up.

The intense technological competition described in the film has been compared to historical precedents of global significance. Jay Stratton, the former director of the US government’s UAP task force, likened this alleged race to the Manhattan Project, dramatically labeling it “atomic weapons on steroids.” Stratton emphasized that the nation that first manages to “crack the code” of this technology stands to gain a multi-year strategic advantage on the world stage.

While generating significant buzz, the film has received mixed reviews from critics, raising serious questions about the true scope of the alleged suppression and the secret arms race. The documentary also features testimony from a bipartisan group of politicians, including Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Secretary Marco Rubio, who advocate for greater transparency regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). Despite the push for openness, Elizondo characterized the prevailing official narrative surrounding these events as “the most successful disinformation campaign in US government history.”

Skepticism, however, remains a key part of the discourse. Critics point to a notable absence of irrefutable physical evidence supporting the claims. For instance, Joshua Semeter, a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Boston University and a member of NASA’s UAP study group, voiced his doubts. Semeter stated that he has not personally seen proof of a government cover-up, stressing that “testimony alone is not enough” without corroborating facts. Nevertheless, the mere fact that high-ranking officials are openly discussing UAP maneuvers that appear to defy known laws of physics represents a profound shift in public dialogue.

The film’s much-anticipated wide release is scheduled for November 21, 2025. It will premiere simultaneously in select theaters across New York, Washington, and Los Angeles, alongside its debut on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. This distribution strategy signals a significant transition from the exclusive festival circuit to a broad public discussion concerning these unprecedented assertions of extraterrestrial contact and technological rivalry among nations.
