ECIPS Report: UAPs Pose Security Risk, Challenge European Airspace

Edited by: Uliana S.

The European Centre for Information Policy and Security (ECIPS) released a 30-page report on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), highlighting their potential threat to European security.

The report, overseen by ECIPS President Ricardo Baretzky, analyzes historical cases and recent incidents, including encounters by the U.S. Navy with objects like the 'Tic Tac' in 2004 and the USS Jackson incident in February 2023.

ECIPS recommends creating specialized UAP intelligence teams, investing in advanced sensors, promoting research, and establishing standardized reporting protocols to address the risks posed by these phenomena in European airspace.
