The 8th annual Osijek Flower and Tree Festival took place in King Držislav Park from April 25th to 27th, 2025. This event celebrated nature, sustainability, and community spirit. The festival aimed to raise awareness about the importance of plant life and promote harmony with nature.
Visitors of all ages enjoyed a variety of activities, including workshops, performances, and the opportunity to purchase seedlings, flowers, and ornamental plants. Educational and creative activities were emphasized, with children participating in gardening, recycling, and nature conservation workshops. Young musicians and dancers provided entertainment, creating a festive atmosphere.
The festival was organized by the City of Osijek and the Osijek Tourist Board. It featured over 50 exhibitors and included workshops in collaboration with organizations like Kopački rit and the Embassy and Consulate of the Republic of Finland. Despite a day of mourning on Saturday, the festival proceeded with a modified schedule, highlighting Osijek's commitment to environmental preservation and education.
