Archaeologist Claims Discovery of Atlantis Near Cádiz, Spain

Archaeologist Michael Donnellan has presented findings suggesting the existence of Atlantis off the coast of Cádiz, Spain. Utilizing sonar and LiDAR technology, Donnellan's team identified submerged concentric walls and a central rectangular structure resembling a temple, aligning with descriptions from Plato's dialogues. These discoveries have reignited discussions about the historical basis of the Atlantis legend.

Separately, researchers from Spain's Geological and Mining Institute (CSIC) have explored a submerged mountain near the Canary Islands, known as Mount Los Atlantes. This formation, consisting of three inactive volcanoes, was once part of a system of islands during the Eocene era.
