Bird cages are covered with thunga grass for added shade. Shade nets have been set up over the duck pond area. These measures help to mitigate the impact of the sun.
Animals are receiving summer seasonal fruits like watermelon and muskmelon. Citrus fruits are also being provided to apes, monkeys, primates, birds, and bears. This ensures they stay hydrated and receive essential nutrients.
To combat summer stress, animals are given supplements in their water. These include glucon-D, electrolyte powder, vitamin-C, B-complex, and thermo-care liquid. Thunga grass has also been placed on top of all animal houses for insulation.
