Tokyo, June 17, Asian stock markets experienced mixed movements on June 17th, influenced by the Israel-Iran tensions and global developments.

Other markets like Singapore, Seoul, Manila, Bangkok, and Jakarta saw gains, while Sydney, Wellington, and Mumbai declined. Investors are also watching the G7 summit, where leaders are opposing trade wars.

The G7 nations have called on President Trump to withdraw plans for additional tariffs. In Vietnam, the VN-Index increased by 9.58 points (0.72%) to 1,347.69 points.

The global stock market has seen volatility this week. The decline in stocks and the rise in safe-haven assets show the market's sensitivity to major geopolitical events.
