Ashok Leyland Board to Consider Bonus Share Issue on May 23, 2025

Ashok Leyland's shares experienced a rise of over 2%, reaching ₹245.70 on the BSE on Tuesday, ahead of a board meeting scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025. During this meeting, the company will deliberate on the possibility of issuing bonus shares and will also review the financial results for the fiscal year that concluded on March 31, 2025.

The board meeting on May 23, 2025, will specifically address the standalone and consolidated audited financial results. According to an exchange filing, the board may also explore a proposal regarding the issuance of bonus shares, contingent upon obtaining the necessary approvals.

This decision follows the declaration of a second interim dividend of ₹4.25 per share on May 17. To date, Ashok Leyland has declared total interim dividends of ₹6.25 per share (625%) for FY25, with payments scheduled to be made by June 14, 2025.
