Taylor Swift's 'The Tortured Poets Department' has reclaimed the number one position on the UK charts, marking a significant resurgence for the album. This climb back to the top was boosted by the release of a new signed CD edition on April 19, 2025, commemorating the album's first anniversary.

The album's return to the top spot marks Swift's 11th non-consecutive week at No. 1 in the UK. In April 2024, upon its initial release, 'The Tortured Poets Department' broke records, solidifying its place in UK chart history.

Earlier in 2025, Swift also achieved another milestone, surpassing Madonna as the female artist with the most No. 1 albums in UK chart history after 'Lover (Live In Paris)' topped the charts in February 2025.
