Edited by: Yuliya Shumai

Abu Dhabi, UAE, May 23, 2025 - The Venom Foundation announced the successful completion of a closed-network stress test for its next-generation protocol, demonstrating a processing capability of 150,000 transactions per second (TPS) with finalization achieved in under three seconds.

Scheduled for implementation in Q3 2025, this upgrade aims to position Venom as a leading public blockchain in terms of throughput. Christopher Louis, CEO of Venom, stated that the enhanced system is designed to manage enterprise-scale workloads efficiently without escalating fees or undermining decentralization.

The Venom Foundation plans to release all raw data, node configurations, and test scripts on GitHub before the testnet launch. Independent auditors are currently evaluating the security and performance enhancements of the upgrade. The Venom Foundation, based in Abu Dhabi, supports the research, development, and adoption of the Venom blockchain.

The Foundation is registered in the Cayman Islands as a non-profit organization.
