Services Berhad. The app, built on Zetrix's Layer-1 public blockchain technology, promises a secure, transparent, and tamper-proof voting experience for fans worldwide, marking a significant advancement in the pageant's 73-year history.
Zetrix AI Berhad, which rebranded in July 2025 to reflect its focus on blockchain and artificial intelligence, is providing the technological backbone for this innovative platform. The partnership aims to enhance fan engagement through secure voting mechanisms and the integration of AI-powered companions. These digital avatars, inspired by the contestants, will offer fans an immersive way to connect with the participants, learn about their personal causes, and gain insights into their values.
MUO President Raúl Rocha Cantú expressed enthusiasm for leveraging cutting-edge technology to bring fans closer to the contestants, their causes, and cultures. Dato' Fadzli Shah, Co-Founder of Zetrix, highlighted the app's development through pilot projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong, ensuring its refinement before the global rollout. The app is slated for release on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The 74th Miss Universe Competition is scheduled to take place on November 21, 2025, at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
