Hong Kong to Launch Tokenized Money Market ETFs Next Month

Hong Kong, next month, will see the launch of tokenized shares for two existing money market ETFs, the Bosera HKD Money Market ETF and the Bosera USD Money Market ETF. This initiative is a collaboration between HashKey Group and Bosera Asset Management. The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has already approved the tokenized ETFs. HashKey Exchange will serve as the primary distribution channel, allowing investors direct access to money market instruments via tokens. This development is part of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's "Project Ensemble" sandbox, aimed at exploring the tokenization of real-world assets. Last month, OSL launched the tokenized mutual fund -- ChinaAMC HKD Digital Money Market Fund.
