Circle's USDC stablecoin is set to launch on Japan's SBI VC Trade crypto exchange on March 26, following regulatory approval secured on March 4. This marks a significant step for USDC in Japan, with Circle also planning listings on Binance Japan, bitbank, and bitFlyer. The launch follows two years of negotiations with regulators and is expected to enhance financial accessibility and drive crypto innovation in Japan. SBI Holdings CEO Yoshitaka Kitao highlighted its alignment with the future of payments and blockchain finance. Additionally, on February 24, USDC and EURC were recognized in Dubai under the Dubai Financial Services Authority's new regime, allowing their integration into various digital asset applications.
