On March 12, 2025, MEXC Ventures, the investment arm of the MEXC cryptocurrency exchange, announced a $16 million strategic investment in Ethena, a stablecoin innovator. In addition, MEXC acquired $20 million in Ethena's USDe synthetic dollar to promote its adoption. MEXC aims to encourage users to trade USDe by offering incentives such as zero-fee trading pairs and high-APR staking events with a $1,000,000 prize pool. Founded in 2018, MEXC supports over 34 million users across 170+ countries.
