SpaceX Launches Starlink Performance Antenna for High-Speed Internet in Remote Areas

Edited by: Olga Sukhina

SpaceX has unveiled the Starlink Performance antenna, designed for high-speed internet in remote and hard-to-reach areas. This new antenna promises speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second, significantly exceeding previous models.

The Performance antenna is built with aluminum for durability and resistance to extreme weather conditions. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 60°C, ensuring functionality in various environments.

It features a larger surface area for improved data reception and performance, offering internet speeds up to 44 Mbps in the most remote areas. The antenna connects to an existing Starlink router or via Ethernet cable. It also offers different electrical connection methods.

This high-end product is expected to appeal to companies requiring high-speed satellite internet, such as cruise operators or those managing remote infrastructure. The price is estimated to be similar to the previous high-performance model, ranging from 1,191 to 2,390 euros.

With this innovation, SpaceX continues to strengthen its position in the satellite internet market, offering advanced solutions for users in hard-to-reach areas and contributing to the expansion of global connectivity.
