Edited by: Olga Sukhina

Apple has announced a significant leadership change. Sabih Khan will become the Chief Operating Officer (COO), replacing Jeff Williams, who will retire later this year.

Khan, 58, has been with Apple for 30 years, serving as Senior Vice President of Operations since 2019. He has overseen the company's global supply chain, including product planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.

Jeff Williams, 62, has been a key figure at Apple for nearly three decades. He led the supply chain since 2015. After Williams' retirement, the design team will report directly to CEO Tim Cook.
