Elon Musk contributed more than $20 million to the RBG PAC, a Super PAC supporting Donald Trump, as part of a total of $239 million spent in the 2024 election cycle. The donation from Musk's Revocable Trust, reported on December 6, 2024, was primarily used for digital ads.

The RBG PAC's campaign, which began on October 17 and ended on November 25, aimed to counter claims against Trump's stance on abortion. The PAC's messaging suggested alignment between Trump and the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, drawing criticism from Ginsburg’s family.

Musk's overall financial support included $119 million to America PAC, another Super PAC, with $87 million directed towards Trump and $57 million opposing Vice President Kamala Harris. His donations reflect a broader trend of billionaire involvement in political campaigns.

Following the election, Musk announced plans to keep America PAC active, focusing on increasing Republican registrations ahead of upcoming elections.
