A recent increase in job postings by Switzerland's largest banks contrasts with the long-term trend of declining job availability in the sector. Currently, the number of advertised banking positions is 16% lower than in May 2024 and 44% lower than in May 2023. This short-term rise is solely due to job postings from the three largest banks. UBS has 10% more job postings on its website than a month ago. Raiffeisen banks and Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) each show a 25% increase. All other banks analyzed by Indeed show stable or decreased job postings.
