Early, candid photographs of Walt Disney, dating back 100 years, are set to be auctioned in March. The collection includes images from Disney's honeymoon and his first movie camera, offering a unique glimpse into the early days of the Walt Disney Studio. These photos, mailed by Disney to composer Carl Stalling in the 1920s, later became part of "Looney Tunes" animator Bob Clampett's estate. The auction, held by Van Eaton Galleries, will feature over 950 lots, including animation art, puppets, and merchandise. One notable photo captures Disney on his Seattle honeymoon with his wife, Lillian Bounds. The auction promises a rare opportunity to own a piece of American pop-culture history.
