Dubai's culinary scene has reached new heights with the unveiling of the 2025 MICHELIN Guide. The city now boasts its first-ever three MICHELIN Star restaurants. This announcement solidifies Dubai's position as a top gastronomic destination. The MICHELIN Guide Dubai now features 119 restaurants across 35 cuisines. This represents a remarkable 72.5% increase since the inaugural 2022 edition. This leap underscores the city's rapid culinary growth. Trèsind Studio, led by Chef Himanshu Saini, has made history as the first Indian restaurant globally to earn Three MICHELIN Stars. FZN by Björn Frantzén also achieved this honor. Frantzén is now the only chef to hold Three Stars at three different restaurants simultaneously. Issam Kazim, CEO of Visit Dubai, emphasized the significance of this milestone. He noted that it marks a pivotal moment in Dubai's journey as a world-class gastronomic destination. Dubai's diverse culinary landscape reflects the city's dynamism and ambition. The MICHELIN Guide, celebrating its 125th anniversary, continues to shape the culinary world. It uses anonymous inspectors and a signature star system. The guide also features Bib Gourmand for value and Green Stars for sustainability. Dubai is attracting unprecedented global attention, with 7.15 million international overnight visitors between January and April 2025. Food is playing a key role in driving the city's tourism boom.
