Vitória, the capital city of Espírito Santo, Brazil, has emerged as a sought-after destination for travelers during the Easter holiday in April 2025. The city's accessibility, diverse gastronomy, and welcoming atmosphere have garnered praise from tourists, leading to high traffic at Vitória Airport and impressive hotel occupancy rates.
According to a survey conducted by the Vitória Development, Tourism, and Innovation Company (CDTIV), hotel occupancy in Vitória reached 83% during the Easter period. Furthermore, 98% of tourists surveyed expressed their intention to return to the city in the future.
The majority of visitors to Vitória during Easter 2025 came from the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais. Tourists have positively highlighted the quality of services and infrastructure available in Vitória, with approximately 92% rating the service in bars and restaurants as either good or excellent. Accessibility at tourist spots was also well-regarded, with 84.3% of tourists considering it good or excellent.
Vitória Airport experienced its highest passenger traffic since 2023, with Zurich Airport Brasil reporting 11,800 passengers in a single day.
