Why is raw pork not the best choice for your pet?

Edited by: Екатерина С.

Raw pork poses significant health risks to dogs. It can transmit the Aujeszky's virus, also known as pseudorabies, which is fatal to dogs. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, and neurological disorders.

Raw pork can also contain Trichinella spiralis larvae, causing trichinosis. This infection leads to symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and muscle pain in dogs.

Additionally, the high fat content in pork can cause gastrointestinal issues and pancreatitis. To keep your dog safe, always cook pork thoroughly and remove all fat. Avoid raw pork products completely.
