Cat Named Leonardo da Pinchy Becomes Local Celebrity for Laundry Heists

07:47, 25 July

Edited by: Екатерина С.

A 15-month-old cat named Leo, affectionately known as "Leonardo da Pinchy," has become a local sensation in Mairangi Bay, Auckland, for his unusual habit of bringing home various laundry items. His owner, Helen North, has turned to neighborhood WhatsApp and Facebook groups to return the stolen goods to their rightful owners, often posting humorous messages and photos of the items. The community has responded with amusement, and some residents have even expressed disappointment that Leo hasn't stolen from them. Despite attempts to curb his behavior, Leo continues his laundry thefts unabated, much to the town's amusement.
