A true friend: a dog doesn't care if a person is good

Edited by: Екатерина С.

A recent study from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna found that dogs don't favor friendly or unfriendly people. This is interesting news for dog lovers.

In the experiment, 40 dogs interacted with two types of people. One person was friendly and offered them sausage. The other person was unfriendly, turning away and withholding the sausage.

The dogs showed equally friendly behavior towards both people. They showed no preference for either the friendly or unfriendly individual. The results were published in the journal "Animal Cognition." Further research could explore the reasons behind this behavior and whether it applies to all breeds.
