Caracas will host the Caracas Design Week (CCSDW) from June 7-14, 2025, showcasing a diverse range of design disciplines. The event aims to transform the city by highlighting design's potential to reshape spaces, foster business growth, educate future generations, and build community.
CCSDW 2025 will feature professionals, embassies, brands, and institutions at the forefront of design. Activities will span interior design, architecture, graphic design, industrial design, fashion, gastronomy, and visual arts, primarily in Baruta and Chacao. Key locations include Casa Mall, Parque Cerro Verde, and Universidad Monteávila.
Networking Hub: The 'Cubo Negro' in Chacao will serve as a networking space. It will host academic projects from architecture and industrial design students, talks, audiovisual projections, and interactive areas for sponsoring brands.
International Exhibition: The IX Ibero-American Design Biennial (BID) at Hacienda La Trinidad Parque Cultural will inaugurate CCSDW. It will feature top designs from Latin America, Spain, and Portugal, with a special spotlight on Venezuelan designs.
Global Collaboration: Spanish designer Álvaro Catalán de Ocón, known for his PET Lamp project (recycling and crafts in lighting), will participate. Venezuelan designers based in Spain will also share their global perspectives.
The fashion segment will include emerging brands and academic proposals from Academia Moda UCAB, the Instituto de Diseño, and Localness. This reinforces CCSDW's role as a platform for national talent. Special travel packages are available to encourage nationwide participation.
CCSDW 2025 emphasizes design as a transformative force, inviting attendees to see Caracas with new eyes and recognize design's broad impact.
