18:48, 13 May

Edited by: Elena HealthEnergy

Forget fleeting wellness trends. New research confirms a straightforward path to happiness: a clean and organized home. A recent survey highlights the significant connection between cleanliness and mental well-being.

The study reveals that 71% of individuals experience an improved mood in a clean home, while 65% report reduced stress levels thanks to clean floors. Furthermore, 64% feel a greater sense of peace in a tidy environment. An overwhelming 88% agree that a clean, organized space promotes a clear and focused mind, reducing stress and fostering calm.

Decluttering expert Nicola Lewis supports these findings, emphasizing the emotional advantages of a clean home. This research, commissioned by SharkNinja in May 2025, suggests incorporating cleaning into self-care routines. James Kitto, Managing Director at SharkNinja, highlights that a clean home fosters emotional wellbeing and productivity.
