Edited by: Elena HealthEnergy

The University of Pisa has launched a groundbreaking course, "Mind Body Psychodynamics and Contemplative Studies," within its Clinical Psychology program. This initiative integrates contemplative practices like mindfulness and meditation, known for their mental health benefits, with Western psychology. Led by Professor Ciro Conversano, with research contributions from Professor Angelo Gemignani, the course builds upon years of research, including collaborations with the Dalai Lama and studies in India. This program is in collaboration with the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute, bridging scientific and contemplative traditions. The course aims to equip future psychologists with a holistic approach to mental health, addressing the evolving needs of contemporary society.
